La Fresque de la Construction: a collaborative workshop in support of more sustainable construction

Last week, VALENTIN’s sales and marketing teams, along with the management team, gathered in Feuquières-en-Vimeu to take part in an awareness-raising workshop entitled La Fresque de la Construction.

Led by Justine Delobelle from the La Fresque de la Construction association, this workshop aims to improve understanding of the environmental challenges facing the construction sector by addressing the entire building life cycle: design, material selection, implementation, use and end of life.

A time for discussion to better understand the impacts of construction

Run as a series of collaborative workshops, La Fresque de la Construction highlights the main levers for reducing the environmental footprint of buildings, including:

  • resource consumption,

  • CO₂ emissions,

  • material durability,

  • product repairability and end of life,

  • the role of manufacturers in the ecological transition.

Through practical discussions and real-world examples, the workshop enabled participants to better understand the links between our activities, our products and today’s climate challenges.

An approach aligned with VALENTIN’s DNA

For more than 80 years, VALENTIN has been designing and manufacturing durable waste, shower and bath solutions in France, developed to support professionals over the long term.

This commitment is reflected in particular through:

  • controlled and resource-efficient French manufacturing,

  • a strong focus on product durability and performance,

  • the development of ranges incorporating recycled materials (Ocean’Up, Goodprint),

  • continuous efforts to reduce our environmental impact without compromising quality or reliability.

Taking part in La Fresque de la Construction strengthens VALENTIN teams’ shared culture around these issues and fuels our future reflections, from product design to customer support.

Building better for a better way of living

By involving its teams in this type of initiative, VALENTIN reaffirms its ambition to be a responsible player in the construction industry. Understanding global challenges makes it possible to take more concrete action at our own level and to continue improving our industrial practices.

This approach fully aligns with VALENTIN long-term vision: designing reliable, durable and responsible solutions in support of more sustainable construction.
