VALENTIN extra-flat drains have two remarkable characteristics: a natural water seal and NF certification.
The importance of the water seal: the only infallible defense against odors rising from the pipes.
The water guard is the constant reserve of water systematically created in the siphon and which makes it possible to screen the rise of odors from the wastewater network towards the interior of the house. Operation of the water guard:
1. Using the shower
2. The water empties and flows through the pipes.
3. A small quantity of water is kept in the siphon, forming a natural "buffer" against bad odors.
This design allows the water guard to be renewed each time the sanitary appliance is used naturally and effortlessly, for constant and lasting efficiency.
The MINIME, SMART and FLUSH 44 extra-flat shower drains comply with the NF standard.
The new E.C.A.U classification for extra-flat shower drains complements the criteria of the NF EN 274 standard. The main tests are as follows:
• flow test under 15mm of water which must be greater than or equal to 24 l/min,
• flow test under 10mm of water which must be greater than or equal to 20 l/min,
• resistance to 5 thermal shock cycles of 15 min at 95°C and 10 min in cold water,
• resistance of the water seal to pressure greater than 200 Pa,
• odor-tightness: the pressure must not fall below 180 Pa for a period of 15 min,
• clogging test: at the end of the test, an odor tightness test is carried out, without cleaning the drain, with the same result as above,
• waterproofing.
The SMART, FLUSH 44 and MINIME extra-flat shower drains have received the NF standard from the CSTB, the mandated certifying body.
These shower drains had already received the SOLAR IMPULSE label for their sustainable and ecological cleaning without chemic
