1. Black soap
Its benefits are manifold. For a medium-sized bathroom we recommend that you mix 2 tablespoons of black soap with 5 liters of hot water to clean: floor, window, sink, bathtub, shower ... it is an excellent degreaser. For a targeted and in-depth cleaning you can apply the black soap directly to a sponge and rub the surface.
2. Baking soda
Very effective for washing silicone tile joints with a touch of white vinegar or lemon juice. It is also very useful for removing limescale from shower or tub walls. If you have recurring bad odors, you can also leave an open container containing baking soda: this product full of virtues contains in particular absorbent properties that will capture persistent odors.
3. White vinegar
White vinegar has many properties that make it an essential whole house cleaning product. Another important quality: it is very economical, it is the cheapest of the cleaning products.
For the bathroom you can use it to descale taps and showers, shine windows and act as a barrier to bacteria.
With just a little lukewarm water and a sponge, it works wonders. We recommend choosing it with an acid level of 10 to 14% for it to be effective.
To maintain your pipes, you can also pour 20 centiliters of white vinegar directly into the opening, leave to act for about 30 minutes, then pour 1 liter of boiling water.
4. Tea tree essential oil
This essential oil sanitizes the bathroom and leaves a pleasant smell of resin.
With 5-6 drops on a sponge, you can wash and disinfect your shower, toilet and bathtub.
5. Lemon juice
Lemon juice is very useful for getting rid of tartar that gets deposited on faucets, shower heads, shower columns or appliances over the weeks. With half a lemon and some elbow grease, you're good to go! The scent of lemon will give a feeling of freshness in the bathroom.
6. Marseille soap
Provence in your bathroom thanks to Marseille soap. Just use it with a sponge, rinse with water and wipe dry with a soft cloth and you're good to go for a shiny mirror or shower screen!

Using lemon essential oil in the household is as simple as it is purifying: to sanitize all surfaces in the bathroom, pour a few drops on a cloth or sponge and rub.
