VALENTIN continues to innovate in the field of packaging in response to growing demand for more sustainable solutions. Historically committed to the use of recyclable plastic and cardboard, the company now emphasizes 100% recycled materials for its products.
In 2022, VALENTIN removed plastic film from shower columns, opting for simple strapping, and began the transition from its plastic bags, previously made from 51% recycled materials, to bags made entirely from recycled plastic.
This summer, VALENTIN launched a new range of waste products packaged in 100% FSC certified paper bags, available now from Leroy Merlin. This approach underlines the company's eco-responsible commitment and meets the growing expectations of consumers. The new range of paper bags has been designed to optimize shelf space and facilitate stock management thanks to rationalization of formats: four sizes which maximize on-shelf efficiency while improving product readability.
The paper bags are distinguished by their compactness and robustness, with an airtight closure provided by a knitting machine to guarantee the integrity of the products and a hanging system on a pin. In addition, bubble wrap overpackaging has been eliminated in favor of recyclable paper, in accordance with VALENTIN's waste reduction policy.
